Autonomous floating platform would allow to conduct effectively several time and material consuming science researches on various bodies of water. Researches could include e.g. mapping the base with sonar, taking water samples, investigating currents or flora and fauna of the lake.
Floating platform would consist of hydro-dynamic float and several water-proof modules. Control, navigation, batteries, solar panels and scientific instruments would be all in different modules.
Control system with management software is successfully tested on an autonomous vehicle on the ground.
